Dolce Greenland 2024
For the first time, we organized an expedition to Greenland. This largest island in the world has long interested the members of the Dolce club. We responded to the curiosity of our travelers by taking them to Nuuk, the capital of Greenland.
Greenland has no roads connecting its cities. Cars only move within city limits. Therefore, our „festival of hedonism on wheels” was held for the first time not in cars but on a ship and motorboats. We watched whales, explored a glacial fjord, observed floating icebergs up close, and even walked on them. We swam in the crystal-clear but icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean. We caught colorful fish. We got to know the Inuit, the people of Greenland. We had a wonderful time among joyful people – both our hosts and the participants of this Arctic expedition.
There are no direct flights to Greenland from Poland. That’s why we flew there through Iceland, which we know well, and returned there after spending four days in Greenland. It was a perfect opportunity to spend an additional two days on the „island of fire and ice,” as it is called. We visited the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, located in the western part of the island. We usually skip it when driving around the island each year during Dolce Iceland. This time, it was a perfect chance to get to know this beautiful part of Iceland, full of extraordinary places.
If you liked Iceland after seeing the photos above, you can join us in July 2025 to circle this magical island in a week, discovering most of its unique attractions. The program is already ready, and we can share it with you. The first participants signed up a year in advance.
Small planes carrying 30–40 people fly to Greenland’s popular cities. For this reason, we could not accommodate everyone interested in this year’s expedition. They will be participants in Dolce Greenland ’25 in August 2025. Immediately upon our return, practically while still on-site, we began preparations for next year’s edition. The experience of the recent Dolce Greenland will help us prepare next year’s event even better.
